The Havok Era (2010–2024)
Reece joined the Denver thrashers Havok in 2010, replacing Shawn Chavez. He was instrumental in defining the band’s technical peak.

Departure:
In July 2024, Reece officially left Havok after 14 years.
The split was amicable, cited as being due to scheduling conflicts and his increasing commitments to Machine Head.
The Machine Head Era (2022–Present)
Reece’s journey with Machine Head started as a "emergency" fill-in and evolved into a permanent fixture in the Bay Area legends' lineup.Joining: He originally filled in for Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka during the "Electric Happy Hour (Live)" tour in late 2022 when Vogg had commitments with Decapitated.
Transition to Permanent Member:
By 2024, after Vogg’s departure, Reece was solidified as the lead guitarist.
Discography:
He is featured on the 2025 studio album Unatoned. Fans have noted that while Machine Head's songwriting on this record was "leaner," Reece’s leads brought a fresh, high-energy vibrato to their sound.
Current Status (2026):
While he is a core member of the band, he notably stepped back from the Summer 2025 European tour to attend to family matters, with Vogg returning briefly to cover for him.
