April 4, 2025 — Bay Area thrash metal titans Machine Head have just dropped a brutal new music video for their latest single, “BØNESCRAPER,” giving fans a visceral taste of what’s to come on their upcoming eleventh studio album, UNATØNED. The record is set to arrive April 25, 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records in collaboration with Imperium Recordings.
Directed by longtime visual collaborator Mike Sloat, the “BØNESCRAPER” video is a relentless assault of raw energy, showcasing the band’s signature blend of crushing riffs, groove-heavy rhythms, and Robb Flynn’s uncompromising vocal ferocity. The visuals are as intense as the track itself—featuring dystopian imagery, rapid-fire cuts, and performance shots drenched in blood-red lighting that mirrors the track’s sonic aggression.
“‘BØNESCRAPER’ is about peeling back the layers—emotionally, mentally, spiritually—and facing your most brutal truths head-on,” said frontman Robb Flynn. “This song came from a very dark place, and we wanted the video to reflect that kind of psychological torment and power.”
UNATØNED marks a bold new chapter in Machine Head’s ever-evolving legacy. Early teasers suggest the album leans into a darker, more experimental direction while still maintaining the thrash roots that have defined the band since their 1994 debut Burn My Eyes.
With “BØNESCRAPER” already whipping fans into a frenzy online, anticipation for UNATØNED is at a fever pitch. Pre-orders for the album, including limited edition vinyl and exclusive merch bundles, are now live via the band’s official website and Nuclear Blast’s storefront.
Watch the video for “BØNESCRAPER” and brace yourself for the next chapter in Machine Head’s relentless assault on the metal world.
