Pantera & Disturbed have been my 2 fave bands for years. About 2 months ago I decided it's now Pantera & Machine Head! My hubby has their music on his pc, and I heard it a long time ago and liked it, so I made an mp3 cd, which I listened to like twice, lol. Then 2 months ago or so, I really started liking them, so I seen if they had any concert dates. They did, so I immediately got me and my man a ticket! (He has been to a shitload of shows and never saw them, but has been wanting to!) I listened to the songs on a daily basis (which I still do lol) and learning the lyrics. The day of the show came and I was so exicted, but my man had a tooth hurting and his legs were hurting from the last show we went to, so he didn't want to get right up front like we always do, and deal with all the pushing and shoving 
Luckily one of the bands dropped out a week prior, so we only had to sit through one band and then MH!! I got us 2 shirts. His was a tour shirt and mine is one I saw online that says Machine Fucking Head on front, and Head Bang Motherfucker on back I also got a Dimebag Darrell keychain bottle opener 
This was $75 for 3 things lmao! Well we ended up getting pushed up front cuz of all the pushing, and right when the band before MH stopped, some dumbass was crowd surfing and knocked off hubby's glasses and they broke, and he is blind as a bat w/o them so he was pissed and wanted to leave right then before MH went on, cuz he had no way of fixing them Even though I didnt want to, I followed him to the car, smoked a cig, and we went back in, all the way by the entrance door, just as MH was starting I Am Hell. I was so excited, I felt like I was gonna burst, but I kept my kool. After the song, he went back to the car, and I waited to see what they were playing next, then I followed. I was like, at least I saw one song, I'll just be a good wife and deal with it, and leave with him. When I got to the car, he told me we should just put on our seatbelts and leave, thats when I felt the tears coming, I was about to start bawling, and I guess he could sense this, and told me to just go back in watch them. I was in shock.. On the walk back to the venue they were starting their 3rd song which was Imperium, and I tryed not to run, to not seem so excited, cuz I fucking love this song. When I got back in, I was like, man this is too far back, I cant really see them myself, and I cant get any good pix with my dslr, so I seen how close I could get. There was this girl taking pix right by the far left wall by the vip area, in this gap between the wall and the railing, so I went to stand by her. When she left I took her place, and the security didnt seem to mind. I actually kept inching closer so I was pretty much in front of the railing. I couldn't get ANY pix of Dave Mcclain, cuz there was a tall speaker blocking him from where i was at, or any real good pix of Adam Duce cuz he was on the other side of the stage, but I got some really good ones of Phil Demmel and some alright ones of Robb Flynn. I have been to alot of concerts as well since I been with my husband, but I tell u what Machine Head were the shit! It was so amazing! I can't wait to see them again! Im grateful to my hubby for letting me go back in, so to somewhat make it up, I bought him a ticket to his fave band Opeth on 4/20 at the same place, and I wont go, ill stay home, and we've never been to a concert w/o each other since we got together in 05! lol Sorry for the long post
